Countdown: Day 6 - New Year's Eve

Only 5 hours left of 2010!
We have great expectations for 2011!  A year of awakenings and accelerations.

We are saddened a bit, though, by our Becky's dad's home going this evening even though we know there will be a reunion later in heaven.  Merle was nearly 94 years old.  Please pray for his wife, Marjorie, and their entire family.  Merle and Marjorie opened their home to more than their own children.  They embraced several foster children as their own all of whom are now grown and with families of their own.  Merle has literally now entered the realm of God's Kingdom...where there is no sorrow, only indescribeable love and peace.

Countdown: Day 7 - Time Flies

We are rapidly approaching our departure date, and we have less than a week left.  Wow, where has the time gone?  All kinds of loose ends need to be wound up before we leave.  Every day, it seems like more and more things appear on the horizon to be taken care of. It will almost be a relief to get on the plane and not worry about anything at home and focus on what is to come.

Not only are we preparing to say goodbye to 2010, it is time to usher in the New Year!  What amazing things has God done in 2010 for you?  Think back and be joyful, happy and thankful!  I'm thankful for all that God has orchestrated to bring this trip to fruition.  I'm also thankful that God has healed my father and that my parents will see, hear and watch--via video--all that God does on this trip - to prove that God is faithful, good and a most loving Father to all people. Love, Roberta

The Miracle of Christmas and Beyond

Countdown: Day 12 - Merry Christmas! December 25, 2010

We wish you a joyous and blessed Christmas!

It is now 9 p.m . Christmas evening......
What a blessed day of fellowship and food with family and friends in our host's Aussie home.  We were greeted with old fashion egg nog (Aussie style).   A feast of roast lamb, turkey and ham was the main course with scallopped potatoes, carrots & onion, green salad, dressng, relishies, and capped off with desserts ranging from "Popalov (sp.)," to Scottish shortbread and Austrailian Christmas cake and all sorts of pies and chocolates in between.  Young Joel hosted and facilitated a small meeting later in the evening of sharing testimony, and prophetic words largely from the children and youth.

Countdown: Day 22 - Ordering Our Steps

The Lord is making a way for us and we are walking in it.  Many responsiblities that each of us have to deal with before we leave are coming together.  Luella is thankful for a loving caretaker for both her foster dog, Roxy, and her cottage for the next two months.  Roberta also has a great caretaker for her "kitties" and home, too.  Thank you Lord!  And, Kimberly has found a responsible substitute for her cleaning business.  Yeah, God!  We thank you, Lord, ahead of time for the rest of the concerns that need to fall in line...bills paid, packing preparations, workplace transitions, etc.!  Thank you all for praying!!

Countdown: Day 23 - Thank You to Partners in Prayer and Giving!

A Special Thanks to all who have participated to date in our New Zealand ministry tour.

We welcome your comments and encouragements.  Our financial goals are almost met.  Our prayer coverage is developing increasingly into a powerful seasoned base committed to see revival fires in the land.  One vision coming out of a church in New Zealand, recently reports a visual of a Roman candle with flames shooting out with small sparks and large sparks all over New Zealand (both North and South Islands) starting revival fires on the horizon.

Countdown: Day 24 - Skyping NZ with Host, Hinehau

Newly installed camera works great from the vantage point of Te Puke, New Zealand.  Praise God!

Better transportation looks promising compared to our original plan to rent a vehicle to tour the North and South Island.  Yes, it appears God is arranging a larger vehicle for our use donated by a very generous couple.  Father, thank you for such an awesome provision.  Mutliply the rewards for these people who have given so much already to many others.  Bless their land and everything on it!!  Bless them with your great presence and love!!
